Christmas Dance – December 2024
What a fabulous Christmas Dance on Saturday 7th December! A wonderful evening filled with friendship and the joy of dancing, and to top it off we raised £650 for Alder Hey Children's Hospital by raffling off 14 amazing hampers... lots of winners in the room!! Thanks for all your generous hamper donations! We also had a surprise visit from our ex-Teacher, Gemma - great to see her! All in all, a fantastic start to festivities!

Halloween Dance – October 2024
WHAT A NIGHT at our Halloween Dance! We were treated to an incredible Latin Show by Alan Valentine and Wendy Greenwood, starting with ChaCha and Jive, and then a bit later, Paso Doble, Samba, and a spectacular Rumba to finish! We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Thanks to everyone who supported the night!
Summer Dance – July 2024
Great Summer Dance last night! A bit quiet due to holidays, but such a chilled-out night of dancing 💃 with lots of space on the floor - it was lovely! We did a short Olympics based Quiz for a bit of fun - won by Ian, Dave, Carol & Catherine - they all get complimentary tickets to our Halloween Dance, plus wine and chocolates! The runners up, a ladies team - Sam, Shelley, Viv & Chris - won a bar of chocolate each for their efforts! Well done all 👏. And the quiz entry money raised a fabulous £200 for "Pancreatic Cancer UK". Such great fun! Thanks all and have a wonderful summer break! 🥰

Spring Dance – April 2024
Fab, fab, fab night on Saturday at our Spring Dance! Thank you all for coming along and supporting our Events 🥰, and thanks for all the raffle donations and for putting your hands in your pockets to raise money for Macmillans - our raffle raised a fantastic £360 - WOW!!! You are all ace 😍💃. Already looking forward to next time! 😁
Valentines Dance – February 2024
❤️ Lovely Valentines Dance 💃 last night - well supported by our wonderful loyal dancers 🥰. The floor was adorned with pink and red, the theme of the evening, and it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves! Dave Ford from our Thursday 7pm class correctly guessed the Monkey's name as Isaac - Dave was presented with a hamper full of goodies! And Karen from our 8.30 Sunday class got the runners up prize of a lovely box of choccies! The real winner however was the ❤️ British Heart Foundation - we raised a fabulous £200 - well done everyone!
Christmas Dance – December 2023
WHAT A NIGHT 🥳💃!!!! Well, we had a fantastic 🎄Christmas Dance on Saturday 2nd December! The dancefloor was packed all night, we brought back the Barn Dance which was a lovely opportunity to circulate, and we raised an enormous £500 for "Young Lives Versus Cancer" with our Hamper raffle - WOW! Thanks everyone for your hamper donations, and for your generosity. I hope you all agree that it was a lovely start to the festive season 🥳🥰💃🎅💗
Halloween Dance – October 2023
Our 🎃Halloween Dance on 28th October, although a little quieter than usual, was yet another great evening of Ballroom & Latin dancing💃! We had some wonderful (and not so wonderful 👹) fancy dress costumes - some great efforts! Our fundraising was for Dementia UK in memory of Neil's mum who sadly passed away in the Summer - £250 raised - wow! Thanks to everyone who came along and supported the event! 🥰

WHAT A NIGHT!!! Absolutely brilliant Christmas Dance on 3rd December - busy dancefloor all evening, and fantastic participation for our fun dance, The Wobble!!! We raffled 11 hampers made up from your donations of goodies... and we raised an incredible £700 for Alder Hey Children's Hospital - WOW, thank you all so much for your generosity! Hope we've helped you all get in the festive spirit - see you all over the next few weeks!
Latin-Line Party – November 2022
What a FAB-U-LOUS Latin-Line Party Night we had on 18th November. I was a bit busy dancing but managed to take a few photos during the night! The next Latin-Line party is already booked in for 28th April 2023 - get it in your diaries!
Halloween Masquerade Dance – October 2022
We had a few scary characters turn up too! We raised a spooktacular £250 in our "Guess the number of sweets in the jar" fundraiser - which is going to Age Concern Cheshire, specifically towards creating a local sensory garden for dementia patients. First prize went to one of our long-standing couples, Karen & Howard Taylor! Already looking forward to our next two events, our Latin-Line Dance Social on 18th November, and our Christmas Dance on 3rd December!
Summer Dance – July 2022
Finally, I've managed to get the photos from Neil from our Summer Dance held at the end of July! What a fantastic turnout with a very busy dancefloor all evening! We had a short break from the dancing to do a Charity Dance Quiz, which raised a superb £290 for Pancreatic Cancer UK. The Quiz was won by some of our longest-standing dancers from our Sunday Advanced class - Ros & Keith, Jackie & Jim and Karen & Howard - who all won a goodie bag! A great night to close the Summer term 😍💃🕺. See you all in September!
Latin-Line Party – June 2022
It was our first Latin-Line Party night since before the Pandemic last Friday 10th June - and what a fantastic night it was! Brilliantly supported by our dancers, and so wonderful to be able to get together properly again. We were so busy enjoying ourselves that we didn't take many photos... but here are a few!!😍💃🕺

Easter Dance - April 2022
Here are the photos from our Easter Dance! Another top night, well supported by our lovely pupils. We had so many donations of raffle prizes, we ran out of space on the table!!! We raised £420 in our raffle which was donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee to help victims of the war in Ukraine - amazing!

Lots of pink & red was adorned on Saturday night for our Valentines Dance💃 ... and it's just so lovely to be dancing and socialising properly again. Super feel-good night! And we raised £250 for THE BRITISH ❤️HEART ❤️FOUNDATION in our "Name the Bear" fundraiser
Christmas Dance - December 2021
Our Christmas 🎄 Dance 💃 was simply ACE! We danced, we laughed, we loved every minute - thank you for being AMAZING! What a fantastic way to end our dancing year! Your generous donations made 9 jam-packed hampers which we raffled and raised £500 for Young Lives Versus Cancer 🥰 - just WOW!
Halloween Dance - October 2021
What an amazing night we had on Saturday 30th October at our Halloween 🎃 Dance 💃! Ghosts👻, skeletons, witches, devils👹, jokers ... we had lots of weird and wonderful characters on the dancefloor throughout the evening, all strutting their stuff! We also played a game of Bingo for donations to the local branch of a very worthwhile charity called "Days for Girls" who send reusable sanitary ware to poor communities - re raised a fantastic £250! So wonderful to be back to normal-ish 💃
Summer Dance – July 2021
Well, what can I say?! We had a very emotional Summer Dance on Saturday 24th July - our first since February 2020! We all had such a great night - the photos say it all!
Valentines Dance 2020
The floor was adorned with reds, pinks and a whole lot of love on Saturday 15th February at our Valentines Dance. A very well attended event again, the dancefloor was busy all night! Our "Guess the name of the monkey fundraiser", won by John from our 8pm Thursday class, made a fabulous £250 for the British Heart Foundation too. All in all, a truly heartwarming night!
Latin-Line Party Night - February 2020
We had another fantastic night at our Latin-Line Party on Friday 7th February. Thank you to all who supported - the last few Latin-Line nights have been really well attended. As always, it was wonderful to see a busy floor throughout the evening. We also managed to raise £150 for St Lukes Cheshire Hospice with our "guess the name of the bear" fundraiser - fabulous!
Christmas Dance 2019
A truly wonderful evening of dancing, laughter and festive cheer was had on Saturday 7th December. We requested donations towards hampers, and had 11 jam-packed hampers to raffle off during the evening. The generosity of everyone was heart-warming... we raised an ENORMOUS £600 for Alder Hey Children's Hospital. You are all amazing - well done! What a brilliant night we had - it was just all over far too quickly. Here's to another year of dancing and friendship in 2020, Cheers!
Halloween Dance 2019
A spooktacular night was had by all at our Halloween Dance on Saturday 26th October. There were some horrific, ghastly & ghoulish looking beings on the dancefloor, but they all seemed to enjoy themselves! Our fundraiser during the evening, Guess the number of sweets in the jar, raised £200 for Cancer Research UK. Well done everyone!
Summer Latin-Line Party
Another top night last Friday for our shimmytastic Latin-Line Dancers. A brilliant turn-out and a busy dancefloor until the bitter end. Amanda taught a new ChaCha dance to "Dance Like Your Daddy" which went down well! Not many photos, as we were too busy to take them!
Summer Dance 2019
What a fantastic evening we had on Friday 12th July!!! A sell-out event, in anticipation of a Latin entertainment extravaganza... and our guest Dancers, Olivia Oates & Christian Skibsrud, certainly did not disappoint! They wowed us all with their superb interpretations of the ChaChaCha, Samba, Rumba, Jive and Paso Doble - and such a lovely couple too! Also, during the evening we collected donations in memory of Andy Fuller, one of our long-standing pupils who sadly passed away after a short, sudden illness recently - £200 was raised which has been sent to the Funeral Directors to pass on to the two chosen charities, the British Heart Foundation and the Critical Care Unit and Royal Stoke Hospital.
May Dance 2019
A lovely chilled out evening took place on Saturday 18th May. A fair few pupils appeared to be on holiday, but those who attended enjoyed the extra dancefloor space! We raised £200 for the Alzheimer's Society in our "Roll the £1 coin" Fundraiser too - top job everyone :-)
Easter Dance 2019 - April 2019
A very busy night of dancing & fun took place on Friday 12th April at our Easter Dance! Our fundraiser was "Neil's Wheel" which was made from a bicycle wheel where pupils paid to spin the wheel and win some weird and wonderful items! A £40 voucher was donated by Gusto in Knutsford, as well as lots of bottles, Easter eggs and other goodies donated by our pupils. £400 was raised in total which has been donated to Macmillans as part of Dave & Craig's Bike Ride Fundraising.
Latin-Line Dance Party - March 2019
Lovely people, lovely dancing, lovely night! Thank you to all who came along and supported the evening - we had a blast as always! Our new "Lindy Jive" went down well, and after all the dancing that went on that night, I imagine there were a fair few sore feet the following day! Worth it though!

Super turn-out as always by our lovely dancers on Saturday 16th February. Our dress theme was red and pink and there really was a lot of love on the dancefloor!
Christmas Dance 2018
What a fabulous start to the festive season at our Christmas Dance on 1st December! The night was a sellout and everyone looked stunning in their black ties & posh frocks! Thanks to all our pupils for donating goodies to make up 12 hamper prizes for our raffle, which raised a phenomenal £520 for the NSPCC - a record fundraiser!

Halloween Dance - October 2018
Our Halloween Masquerade Dance on Saturday 27th October was another fabulous evening full of "scary" dancing. The masks and costumes were fantastic and, as always, the dancefloor was busy all night. Pupils gave generously towards our fundraiser, having a go at guessing the number of jelly beans in the jar, and we raised £200 for the Macmillan Nurses - spooktacular!!!
Summer Latin-Line Party - July 2018
Another fantastic evening, full of dancing by all our fabulous Latin-Line dancers. We learnt a new ChaCha routine, and had a bit of fun with a partner-changing fun barn-dance too! A really super way to mark the end of the Summer term!

Well, we had a last-minute change of venue, but that didn't stop us having another great event on the 14th July. Martin at Lostock Club provided a dance floor and bar; we had music and friendship ... what more did we need?!!! Thanks to our pupils' generosity, we had a huge array of raffle prizes, and our raffle raised £200 for St Lukes Cheshire Hospice. Our dress theme was "floral", making the dancefloor very colourful! Thanks to all our wonderful pupils for supporting us, especially with the venue change!
May Dance 2018
Another very well-supported Dance Night with a very busy floor practically all night! Our fundraiser involved rolling £1 coins along the Dancefloor, the nearest to each of the prizes won! The main "winner" was Alder Hey Children's Hospital - as we raised £320 - brilliant!
Latin-Line Party - April 2018
We had a wonderful evening full of hips, flicks, shimmies, wiggles, chasses, kicks, whisks and turns on Friday 20th April. We all learnt a new Jive to "Feel It Still", and some of our pupils received their awards attained at our recent IDTA exam session. A real feel-good night :-)

Once again, we had a wonderful night of dancing on Saturday 24th March, with a busy dancefloor all evening. We held an Easter Raffle - lots of chocolate and alcohol (!) which raised a fabulous £300 for Marie Curie Cancer Care - well done everyone!
15 Year Anniversary & Valentines Dance 2018
A fantastic night to celebrate 15 years of Northwich Dance Company, fully supported by our wonderful pupils as always. Our very own male dance group, Wrong Direction, after only 6 rehearsals, gave a spectacular dance show on the stage. And, after receiving £280 in donations to charity, Wrong Direction made a second appearance later in the evening!!! The money collected was donated to The British Heart Foundation. Thank you to all involved - it was a truly memorable evening!

What a beautiful lot you are! Black ties and posh frocks - well, it's the only way to do our super special Christmas Dance don't you think?! A sell out Dance again, and a busy dancefloor all night long. Lots of super dancing. We asked for hamper donations for our raffle and, my goodness me, there was enough to fill 7 hampers plus a few gift bags too - loads to be won. We raised a record amount - £450 - which was donated to local charity, St Lukes Hospice. A fabulous way to kick-off the festive season!

Wow - never seen so many scary outfits - a spooktastic effort from everyone with this year's fancy dress - very difficult to choose a winner! Our fundraiser, Guess the number of Sweets in the Jar, made a whopping £250 which has been donated to local charity The Joshua Tree.

Summer Dance 2017
Winnington Rec was filled with sunshine on Saturday 15th July at our Summer Dance! Another brilliant night which was well supported by pupils old and new! We also had a "bring a bottle" fundraising raffle during the evening which raised an incredible £320 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust - wow, you lot are so generous - thank you!

We had a "Latino" theme for our May Dance on Saturday 20th May which was well supported, as always, by our wonderful dancers!

Another well-attended Dance night by our wonderful pupils. Lovely to see some of our Beginners there too! Our fundraiser was to guess the name of the Bunny, which raised a whopping £230 for The Alzheimer's Society.
Valentines Dance 2017
A pink & red themed evening was again fantastically supported by our pupils on Friday 10th February. We played a "Paper Plane Hearts" fundraiser, which raised £200 for the British Heart Foundation. Another superb evening full of love, hearts and, of course, dancing!

Christmas Dance 2016
Such a wonderful night - and don't you all scrub-up well?! Absolutely packed dancefloor most of the night. We were inundated with donations towards our Christmas Hampers (we filled six hampers and gave out extra prizes too)! AND, we raised a record £410 from our Hamper Raffle - such generosity! This money, we're sure, will be well-received by the NSPCC - thank you!

Another well-supported night of dancing at our Halloween Masquerade Dance on 29th October. A few famous faces made an appearance, together with a few rather scary ones!! Our fundraising challenge was to guess the number of jelly beans in the skull, and our generous pupils raised a fantastic £170 which has been donated to Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

Lovely night of Latin Dancing with my gorgeous Tuesday night ladies! ChaChas, Jives, Sambas, Salsas - a very busy night! We learnt a new Salsa to Cheap Thrills by Sia - shimmies were compulsory, haha!!

Beach Party was the theme at our Summer Dance on Saturday 16th July, and we certainly turned Winnington Rec into a tropical delight! During the evening we held a "Name the Bear" competition, won by John Louden, which raised a fabulous £200 for St Lukes Cheshire Hospice. Another well-supported evening of Dance!

We had a lovely afternoon watching the children dancing and presenting them with their Awards following their IDTA Exams in May. Here are a few pics...
May Dance 2016
Brilliant night of social dancing, together with a fantastic five-dance Latin Demonstration from Alexandra Hawley & Joe Hopwood, one of the top British Professional Latin couples. They wowed us with a Cheeky ChaCha, Sexy Samba and a rather Raunchy Rumba in the first part of their show. And later gave us a Passionate Paso Doble and a Jolly Jive with an Austin Powers theme! I've had many positive comments about the evening - just such a shame it's over!!
Easter Dance 2016
A lovely night with "spring" in our step was had on 19th March. As always the evening was well supported by our dancers with some wonderful dancing to be seen! We held a fun fundraising game of "Heads & Tails", raising a brilliant £200 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

January 2016 Latin Line Party
Dance, Dance, Dance! ChaCha, Samba, Jive, Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Rumba ... Non-stop dancing, shimmying, flicking, pivoting, shaking & jiggling ALL NIGHT! Brilliant, just brilliant! And they still wanted to do one of the fastest jives at 11.25pm - crazy, but I love you all!
Children's Awards Presentation - December 2015
What a brilliant evening we had on 13th December! All our children (except just one who was ill) were there with their families. We had some lovely demonstrations and then the children were presented with their awards. A super end to the term!

A glittering night was enjoyed by our lovely dancers on Saturday 5th December. Everyone scrubbed up well in their party frocks and dinner suits and the floor was packed all night! £360 was raised in our hamper raffle - the proceeds of which were donated to the NSPCC - fabulous!

A super Dance Night, yet again. We had a competition for the best carved pumpkin - which was won by Chris Sayers for carving a dancing couple on her pumpkin - it even had a disco ball hanging from the top!!! Everyone entered into the spirit (pardon the pun) with some brilliant fancy dress costumes. And we had a "Guess the number of sweets in the jar" fundraiser, which raised £150 for Macmillan Cancer Care. Oh, and there was quite a lot of dancing too!!

Childrens' Awards Presentation - January 2015
We all had a lovely afternoon on Sunday 25th January at our Childrens' Awards Presentations. Most of our youngsters took IDTA exams in November in Ballroom / Latin / Streetdance. This event was to show off our childrens' dancing and to present them all with their Certificates and Awards. A truly happy afternoon! x

10 Year Anniversary Dance (February 2013)
A spectacular celebration of dance was held at Northwich Memorial Hall on Friday 8th February to mark the 10th Anniversary of the birth of Northwich Dance Company. The iconic Memorial Hall enjoyed a busy evening of dancing, plus some wonderful Dance Demonstrations by Ballroom couple, Christopher Millard and Victoria Bennett, and Latin couple, Chris Savage and Bethany Goddard. Dancers also enjoyed live music, again provided by 3-piece band, Personnel. Early in the evening, as a surprise, Amanda's pupils presented her with a signed card, some flowers, champagne and some jewellery vouchers to the value of £100. It was a truly memorable night
